Mark will manage this new division bringing his 26 years of industry experience to the company.
Mark developed an early fascination with design and construction, which led him to a career in architecture. In 1983, he moved to Bozeman to enroll in a five-year architectural program at Montana State University. Upon receiving his Bachelors Degree in architecture in 1988 took up residence in Las Vegas. He is proud to be responsible for the ever-changing architectural landscape of Las Vegas, from multi-million dollar commercial projects to restaurants, government, residential and healthcare facilities.
In 2000, Mark’s desire to enhance the culinary and cultural aspects of Las Vegas motivated him to produce The Odyssey Lifestyle with his co-founder and wife, Virginia Martino. Their goal was to bring together the area’s top chefs and artists with a selection of the nation’s foremost vintners for an annual four-day celebration of food, wine and art. The prestigious event drew attention and participants from far beyond the Las Vegas Valley to experience the delights of haute cuisine.
In 2003, Martino initiated a charitable program in conjunction with the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Las Vegas. The program created scholarships that allowed deserving students to pursue their dreams of becoming professional chefs. His personal motto reflects Mark’s dedication to wine culture: “I can never have enough wine in my cellar!”
